Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, NM (330 sworn officers) has partnered with the tip411 tool to enhance public safety, foster stronger community engagement, and improve case clearance rates.

tip411 is a powerful anonymous tip tool that is designed to help residents safely and securely share crime-related information with law enforcement.

Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen states, “We know that the community plays a vital role in keeping Bernalillo County safe. Tip411 gives our residents a completely anonymous way to report crime, which will allow us to respond faster, solve cases more effectively, and continue building trust with the public.”

Through the tip411 tool, residents of Bernalillo County can submit anonymous tips about suspicious activity in their community directly to agency personnel.

Once the tip has been received, a live officer can respond through the tool to ask for more details or information while keeping the conversation anonymous. 

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office mobile app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Citizens can also submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “BCSO” and their message/tip to 847411.
