Greeneville Police Department tip411 download app

Greeneville, TN Police Department (54 sworn officers) has increased its crime-fighting arsenal by partnering with tip411, an anonymous tip tool that has been proven to reduce crime, close cases and is used in over 2,000 communities.

tip411 is a tool that keeps residents and tipsters 100% anonymous, as the technology removes all identifying information before reaching law enforcement creating an anonymous two-way conversation.

“Our vision is a group of officers that strives to prevent the next crime,” Greeneville Police Chief Steve Spano said in a news release. “We believe our new Greeneville PD app from tip411 will help us do just that to make our community safer for all.”

Citizens gain a different way to access the police department by being able to see agency alerts, social media channels, important information and more ways to combat crime.

“We’ve listened to feedback from partners like Greeneville Police and have built a more advanced and innovative product to help departments better engage their communities,” said tip411 President Terry Halsch. “The Greeneville PD app, powered by tip411, will greatly improve the public’s access to agency alerts, social media channels, important information, and more to help fight crime.”

The public can submit anonymous tips to the Greeneville PD by texting GPDTN and the tip information to 847411. The Greeneville PD app can be downloaded for free at the Apple App Store and Google Play App Store.
