Johnstown, PA Police Request Tips from Citizens Regarding Recent Homicide 

Johnstown, PA Police detectives are encouraging citizens to submit tips via tip411 to provide the agency details that might assist a recent homicide case.

“Our detectives are interviewing witnesses and working to put the pieces to this case together … but just like with any case, we need the community’s help,” Capt. Chad Miller said.

The victim was pronounced dead at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center following a shooting on the 900 block of Ash Street near the former Clubhouse Bar, police said.

Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by texting JPD and the tip information to 847411. The tip information is delivered anonymously to Johnstown PD. Citizens can also submit tips using the Johnstown PD tip411 app, which can be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

The Crestwood, MO Police Department mobile app has launched, allowing residents to connect with the department from their mobile device.

The Crestwood MO PD app, developed by tip411, enables the public to share anonymous tips with police and lets officers respond to create an anonymous two-way conversation.

Chief Jonathan Williams said, “It’s going to be a better way for us to connect with the community, keep people informed and let them keep us informed. We are a community outreach-based organization and this is one more tool to better connect to the community. It’s exactly what we have been looking for.”
 
Officer Dion Olson added, “We are such a community-oriented department. Our community comes first every day and when we put this uniform on, we pledge to do our best for Crestwood and this app is going to be able to continue that spirit of doing our best for the community.”

Rexburg Police Department Launches tip411 Mobile App to Fight Crime

The Rexburg, ID Police Department has launched the Rexburg PD mobile app, developed by tip411, that allows the public to anonymously report suspicious activity or details regarding crimes.

“We are pleased, as a department, to advance our technological abilities for our city. Community involvement in stopping, identifying and preventing criminal activity is integral and we trust that this service will help Rexburg continue its leadership in our state as the safest city in Idaho,” the department says on its website.

Residents can also send anonymous text tips via their cell phone by texting keyword REXBURGPD and their message/tip to 847411 (tip411).

The system, developed by tip411, is completely anonymous as the technology removes all identifying information before officers see the tips and there is no way to identify the sender.

The Rexburg PD mobile app is available for download for free via the Google Play Store or iTunes App Store.

Anonymous Tips from tip411 Lead to Arrest of Robbery Suspect in Parker County, TX

A man suspected of breaking into multiple storage units in Parker County, TX was arrested with the help of anonymous tips submitted via tip411. The suspect was identified by an anonymous tipster who recognized him from surveillance photos.

“Our Criminal Investigations Division investigators obtained the warrants for his arrest once the press release and photos were posted and tipsters contacted us with his possible identity,” said Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier.

We received dozens of anonymous tips through tip411 and private messenger. His tattoos were a key identifier, and he was wearing the same shirt in his Facebook profile photo that he was wearing in security footage depicting the suspect.”

Sheriff Authier said he wishes to thank the individuals who identified the suspect and anonymously reported him to Parker County Sheriff’s investigators.

tip411 has proven to be a useful tool in aiding our investigators in solving numerous cases, said Sheriff Authier.

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Launches tip411 Mobile App to Fight Crime

The Pulaski County, KY Sheriff’s Office has launched a new app, developed by tip411, for customized crime-fighting and better connects law enforcement with the public.
 
According to the sheriff’s office, the new PulaskiCo Sheriff app helps residents connect with deputies to find information, view alerts, and submit anonymous tips from their smartphone.
 
“It is our vision to build a team concept between the community and the Sheriff’s Office thereby providing the citizens of Pulaski County with an optimum level of protection and service, said Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck. “I believe our new app will help us better connect with residents so that we can all work together to make Pulaski County a safer place to live, work, and visit.”
 
The app and tip411 anonymous text-a-tip system is completely anonymous, as the technology removes all identifying information before deputies see the tips and there is no way to identify the sender.

The app also enables the public to share an anonymous tip with police and lets officers respond back to create an anonymous two-way conversation.
 
Residents in Pulaski County without a smartphone can send anonymous text tips via their cell phone to Deputies by texting keyword PCSOTIP and their message/tip to 847411 (tip411).
