Anonymous Tips From Citizens Help Coatesville Police Department Make Drug Arrests

Thanks to numerous anonymous tips submitted to the City of Coatesville Police, the agency was able to make multiple drug arrests recently in a narcotics trafficking case.

The Coatesville Detectives Narcotics unit opened an investigation into the trafficking of narcotics out of a Coatesville residence after an abundance of tips were received from the agency’s tip411 service. The investigation yielded enough evidence for detectives to obtain a search warrant for the home.

The Coatesville Police Department served the search warrant on the home. During the search, heroin, crack cocaine and other paraphernalia were collected and two suspects were subsequently arrested.

On their Facebook page, the agency thanked the numerous community members for their role for their tips and encouraged citizens to download the free Coatesville PD mobile app.

New Bern, NC Police Launch Anonymous Tip Services Powered by tip411

The New Bern, NC Police Department is now allowing smartphone users the ability to share anonymous tips with law enforcement.

The service, powered by tip411, enables the public to send text messages and open a dialog with a police officer in real time.

“This capability will make it even easier to connect with the police department and help maintain New Bern as a safe place to live, work, and visit,” said Chief Patrick Gallagher. “Everyone has a smartphone these days and texting has become the go-to for communicating with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, businesses, and organizations. It’s important that we continue to implement new technologies that allow people to communicate with us and partner with us to help keep our community safe.”

The tip411 system is 100% anonymous. The platform removes all identifying information before officers receive it and there is no way to identify the sender.

To report a tip, text NBPDTIP along with your message to 847411. The program can be used to report public safety information, suspicious activity, etc. and users can also attach photos and videos to their texts.

Clovis Police Anonymous Tips

Anonymous tips from tip411 help Clovis, NM Police Department make arrest in shooting case

Anonymous tips submitted via the Clovis, NM Police Department’s tip411 mobile app helped the agency identify a suspect in a recent shooting case, according to the agency command staff.

Captain Roman Romero wants citizens to get involved and report what they know about crimes in their neighborhood. Romero encourages citizens to download the Clovis PD mobile app, developed by tip411, if they want to submit anonymous tips to the agency.

“We will always need the public’s help,” Romero said. “Help us help you. Clovis will become what you want it to become.”

Chief Roy Rice said the police department has a plan and is tackling the violence that has increased this year.

“We formed a unit,” Rice said. “We’ve plotted out what night is most likely to have shots fired incidents. One member of our task force watches entries on social media.”

Rice said officers will soon be going into schools and meeting with students.

“We are doing whatever we can,” Rice said. “We have units rolling. We have manpower in the street.”

Clovis, NM residents can submit a tip via text message to by texting the keyword CLOVISPD and then their tip and sending it to 847411. Residents can also download the free Clovis PD mobile app on the iPhone App Store or the Google Play Store.

Anonymous Tips Assist Delhi, OH PD in Identity Theft Case

Thanks to tips submitted via their tip411 system, the Delhi Township, OH Police Department were able to positively identify two suspects from a recent identity theft after publishing a community alert using their tip411 system. Both suspects have been indicted and one suspect has been arrested.

According to Delhi Township, PD Chief of Police James Howarth, “We appreciate tipsters helping us solve crimes regardless of whether they come forward or remain anonymous. We serve a community that supports and assists our department; however, some don’t feel comfortable being involved. In such cases, offering and receiving anonymous tips from our tip411 system is invaluable and proves beneficial time and time again.”

According to the alert published using their tip411 system, the two suspects stole a purse from a grocery cart and the suspects immediately went to another area store in an attempt to purchase over $1000 worth of gift cards. That purchase was declined, but the suspects were able to make a purchase on the victim’s credit card at another area business.

The public can submit anonymous tips to the Delhi Township PD by texting DTPD and the tip information to 847411. The public can also use the DTPD Tip mobile app, powered by tip411, to view community alerts and submit anonymous tips. The DTPD Tip app can be downloaded for free at the iTunes and Google Play App Store.

Anonymous Tips in San Antonio Lead to Arrest of Armed Robbery Suspect

A suspect accused of robbing a man at gunpoint has been arrested by San Antonio police with the help of anonymous tips from the public.

San Antonio police recently released surveillance images from the incident and asked for the public’s help in identifying the robber. Police say that several tips submitted via their tip411 anonymous tips tool identified the suspect. 

An arrest warrant affidavit states the suspect was seen in surveillance video from a recent robbery at a business near Interstate 35 and Rittiman Road.

San Antonio police said that the suspect approached a man and told him he had a gun and he was going to shoot him.
