Anonymous Tips from tip411 Lead to Arrest of Robbery Suspect in Parker County, TX

A man suspected of breaking into multiple storage units in Parker County, TX was arrested with the help of anonymous tips submitted via tip411. The suspect was identified by an anonymous tipster who recognized him from surveillance photos.

“Our Criminal Investigations Division investigators obtained the warrants for his arrest once the press release and photos were posted and tipsters contacted us with his possible identity,” said Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier.

We received dozens of anonymous tips through tip411 and private messenger. His tattoos were a key identifier, and he was wearing the same shirt in his Facebook profile photo that he was wearing in security footage depicting the suspect.”

Sheriff Authier said he wishes to thank the individuals who identified the suspect and anonymously reported him to Parker County Sheriff’s investigators.

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Launches tip411 Mobile App to Fight Crime

The Pulaski County, KY Sheriff’s Office has launched a new app, developed by tip411, for customized crime-fighting and better connects law enforcement with the public.
 
According to the sheriff’s office, the new PulaskiCo Sheriff app helps residents connect with deputies to find information, view alerts, and submit anonymous tips from their smartphone.
 
“It is our vision to build a team concept between the community and the Sheriff’s Office thereby providing the citizens of Pulaski County with an optimum level of protection and service, said Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck. “I believe our new app will help us better connect with residents so that we can all work together to make Pulaski County a safer place to live, work, and visit.”
 
The app and tip411 anonymous text-a-tip system is completely anonymous, as the technology removes all identifying information before deputies see the tips and there is no way to identify the sender.

The app also enables the public to share an anonymous tip with police and lets officers respond back to create an anonymous two-way conversation.
 
Residents in Pulaski County without a smartphone can send anonymous text tips via their cell phone to Deputies by texting keyword PCSOTIP and their message/tip to 847411 (tip411).
 
The app is available for download for free via the Google Play Store or iTunes App Store.

Anonymous Tips Assist Delhi, OH Police Recover Stolen Vehicle

The Delhi Township, OH Police Department recently published a community alert using their tip411 system requesting the public’s assistance locating a stolen van. Within a few hours, the Delhi PD received anonymous tips from the public that led to the recovery of the vehicle.

According to the alert that was published January 6, an unknown suspect broke into two work vans that were parked in the 1100 block of Greenery Lane. The suspect was able to steal one of the vans. The van is a Ford Transit, white with AJM Contracting LLC in bright green lettering on it. There were ladders on the roof. 

The public can submit anonymous tips to the Delhi Township PD by texting DTPD and the tip information to 847411. The public can also use the DTPD Tip mobile app, powered by tip411, to view community alerts and submit anonymous tips. Anonymous Tips from tip411 Lead to Arrests in Shooting Case in Atlantic City

Two men are now jailed after they allegedly shot at one another in an Atlantic City gunfight.

Officers were called to the 1500 block of Pacific Avenue by an alert from the ShotSpotter audio-gunshot notification system.

During the investigation, police received several anonymous tips from the tip411 anonymous texting system that provided critical information in the investigation, Lt. Kevin Fair said.

The Atlantic City PD recently published a community alert using tip411 requesting information from the public regarding a shooting.

The Peoria, IL Police Department mobile app has launched, allowing residents to connect with the department to find information, view alerts and submit anonymous tips from their smartphone.

The Peoria PD app, developed by tip411, enables the public to share an anonymous tip with police and lets officers respond back to create an anonymous two-way conversation.

“The Peoria Police Department is absolutely dedicated to making our city safer and improving the quality of life on every street, every block, and every neighborhood,” said Police Chief Eric P. Echevarria.

“But we cannot do it alone, we need our community to partner with us, and we believe our new tip411 system will help make it easier for residents to contact us and share information,” the chief said.

The Peoria PD app and tip411 anonymous text a tip system are 100% anonymous, as the technology removes all identifying information before police see the tips and there is no way to identify the sender.
