Fighting the Opioid Crisis: Delta County, MI Partners with tip411

    tip411 Delta County

Delta County, MI Sheriff’s Office (16 sworn officers) has teamed up with a new tool to help fight crime and the opioid crisis: tip411.

The launch of tip411 is a joint effort between the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Overdose Awareness of Delta County, and all other local law enforcement agencies.

tip411 is designed to make it safer and easier for residents to report tips about crimes, abnormal behavior, and drug activity, especially those related to overdoses.

tip411 removes a major barrier to reporting crime: the fear of being identified.

This anonymous system not only allows people to submit tips securely but also provides a safe, two-way communication channel between citizens and law enforcement officers.

This is especially vital for reporting serious offenses, like those involving drugs, where people may be concerned for their own safety or the safety of loved ones.

The partnership aims to enhance the amount of information law enforcement receives about drug activity in the community.

Delta County, MI Sheriff’s Office mobile app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Citizens can also submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “DCSOTIPS” and their message/tip to 847411.
