Greeneville, TN PD Embraces Modern Technology with New tip411 App

The Greeneville, TN Police Department (85 sworn officers) is enhancing its crime-fighting capabilities by launching tip411.

This innovative tool provides a stronger connection between law enforcement and the community by offering residents a secure and anonymous way to submit tips and stay informed.

tip411 is a digital platform designed to bridge the gap between police departments and the public they serve. It allows citizens to send anonymous tips via a custom-branded mobile app, text message, or a web form, ensuring their identity remains completely confidential.

The technology removes all identifying information before the tip is ever seen by an officer, making it a powerful tool for those who may be hesitant to report crime due to fear of retaliation.

Key Features of the New Greeneville PD App:

    • tip411 significantly improves the public’s access to agencies.

    • tip411 is used in over 2,000 communities.

    • It allows residents to not only submit tips, but access agency alerts, our social media channels, important information, and more to help fight crime from the palm of their hand

The Greeneville, TN Police Department mobile app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Citizens can also submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “GPDTN” and their message/tip to 847411.
