The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Operation Game Thief (OGT) program, (520 sworn officers) is now partnering with the tip411 tool.
“Protecting Texas wildlife and our natural resources is a shared responsibility,” said Col. Ron VanderRoest, TPWD law enforcement director. “This new system makes it easier than ever for the public to speak up and make a difference while staying completely anonymous.”
This groundbreaking system is designed to make it simple and safe for you to report illegal activities and help protect Texas’s natural resources via the Submit a Tip page.
The tip411 platform is a secure, anonymous two-way communication system that allows citizens to submit tips directly to law enforcement agencies without revealing their identity.
Being anonymous ensures that community members can provide valuable information and answer follow-up questions without ever compromising their identity.
The process to submit a tip is incredibly simple and offers three convenient options for submitting your anonymous tip:
- Text Message:
- Mobile App
- Online Form
The tip411 tool makes it even safer for agencies to help protect America’s natural resources by bridging a critical gap to community members.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department mobile app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Citizens can also submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “TXOGT” and their message/tip to 847411.
