West Chicago, Illinois Police Department (44 sworn officers) partners with tip411 as a way to embrace innovation and to increase community engagement and safety.
“This tool is expected to be an important information-gathering resource for the City of West Chicago,” said Police Chief Colin Fleury. “The tip411 system is 100% anonymous and designed to remove identifying information before it reaches police.”
tip411 has proven success across the country by solving more crimes, closing more cases, and making more arrests.
The tip1411 tool is a completely anonymous avenue for residents and community memebers to share vital crime information, fostering a stronger partnership between the police and the community.
The West Chicago, IL Police Department mobile app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Citizens can also submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “WCPDTIP” and their message/tip to 847411.
