Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota (350 sworn officers) recently announced big news for community safety with assistance from the tip411 tool.
One of Hennepin County’s Top Ten Most Wanted suspects has been captured and is officially behind bars.
The individual, who was wanted for the serious charge of assaulting a family/household member by strangulation, was apprehended, thanks to a crucial community tip through the tip411 tool.
The breakthrough came from an anonymous tip received via tip411. Following the tip, which provided vital information, officers immediately launched an investigation that led to the successful execution of a warrant at a local residence.
This investigation and arrest demonstrate the importance of the partnership with tip411 and is a powerful reminder of how much safer communities are when community engagement is present.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Citizens can submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “HCSOTIP” and their message/tip to 847411.
