After receiving an anonymous tip via their tip411 anonymous tip tool, Rockford Police (278 sworn officers) arrested another suspect in connection with the October 2022 death of a woman.
In March, the Rockford Police Department received an anonymous tip via tip411, and after further investigation, they were able to identify an additional suspect. A warrant for arrest was obtained on April 13, 2023, for Drug- Induced Homicide, Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, and Conspiracy to Deliver Fentanyl in woman’s overdose death.
Citizens can submit anonymous text tips via their cell phone to the Rockford Police Department by texting keyword “RPDTIP” and their message/tip to 847411. Tips can also be submitted using the Rockford PD mobile app, developed by tip411, which is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store.
